I have developed an Android App ‘Indian Philately Digest’. The app was launched on 27th January 2015 by Lt. Col. D. K. S. Chauhan, Chief Postmaster General, Rajasthan Postal Circle and Shri Manoj Bhatt, DGP (ACB), Rajasthan at Rajpex-2015 Philatelic Exhibition.
Using this app, philatelists can find information about philatelists, their collecting interests, contact information etc. (Available only for registered members), philatelic organisations, philatelic bureaux and philatelic dealers in India. This app will help quicken access to the data using filters provided on each page. This app also provides latest news on postal and philatelic activities in India and information about philatelic events. This app will be of great help to view buying and selling offers from registered members. Stamp issue calendar provides information about stamp issue programme of current year.
